Today, Lisa's joined by Sam Polk, the founder of an organization that aims to do something about it. Groceryships, a Los Angeles based non-profit, helps low-income families struggling with obesity, diabetes, food addiction and/or malnourishment by awarding Groceryships, a comprehensive program of financial assistance, nutrition & cooking classes, and psychosocial support designed to increase consumption of whole, plant-foods.
